Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Welcome to Picsgram ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and upholding the highest standards of digital privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at https://picsgram.in and associated services.

By accessing or using our services, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Picsgram's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, when a photographer connects their Google Drive account to Picsgram:

  • We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly scope. This is used solely to view and fetch photo streams from folders selected by the photographer.
  • We do not write, delete, modify, or share your Google Drive files. We only read files to generate watermarked, low-resolution previews for client selection.
  • We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third-party databases, advertising networks, or external AI models.
  • Retention & Deletion of Google User Data: Access tokens are encrypted and used solely for API authorization. Photographers can delete their Google integration at any time from Dashboard settings, which permanently deletes all OAuth tokens and folder mappings. Access can also be revoked directly via Google Account settings.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Photographer Account Data: Name, studio name, email address, hashed password, studio logo, custom watermark preferences, and UPI ID / bank account details for automated payouts.
  • Synced Event Media: Photos synced via Browser Photo Sync (local hard disk/SD card) or Google Drive. High-speed 4K digital delivery copies and watermarked selection previews are processed and securely stored on Cloudflare R2.
  • Client & Guest Details: Client names, phone numbers, and album passcodes configured by the photographer for private album delivery.
  • Payment & Transaction Proofs: Payment proofs (such as UPI screenshots for manual approval) and Razorpay Route settlement records for automated digital gallery purchases.
  • Privacy-Preserving Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized page views on public marketing pages (via Vercel Web Analytics). No tracking cookies or analytics scripts are placed on private photographer dashboards or client selection galleries.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide lightning-fast, private photo selection and proofing galleries for clients.
  • To apply dynamic anti-theft watermarks and generate 4K Ultra-HD soft copy downloads.
  • To verify client payments and disburse automated payouts directly to photographers' bank accounts.
  • To deliver album status notifications, selection updates, and client invitations.

3. Smart Review & AI Privacy Guarantee

Picsgram offers Smart Review features (including face grouping, duplicate detection, and blur analysis) to help photographers and clients find photos quickly.

  • Strict In-Project Scope: AI face vectors and indexing are generated and utilized strictly within the private project gallery where the photos were uploaded.
  • No Public Model Training: We never sell, license, or share client photos or facial vectors with third parties, advertisers, or public AI model training datasets.

4. Data Security & Infrastructure

We enforce industry-standard security protocols to keep your data safe:

  • All web traffic is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / SSL encryption in transit.
  • Database records and authentication tokens are secured via Supabase with row-level security.
  • Optimized image assets and soft copies are stored in private Cloudflare R2 cloud buckets with signed access controls.

5. Data Retention & Scheduled Cleanup

Photos and gallery assets remain accessible throughout the active validity period of your subscription plan or PAYG project credit.

  • When a project reaches expiration or an account subscription lapses, a grace period is provided to renew or export selections.
  • Following the stated grace period, cloud-hosted files are scheduled for automated, permanent cleanup to release storage.
  • Photographers are solely responsible for keeping local master copies of uncompressed camera RAW files on their own computer storage.
